7. Treatment plan

If some teeth are missing or if periodontal treatment leads to the extraction of teeth that cannot be preserved, prosthetic rehabilitation is often necessary to restore a functional balance that is essential to guarantee long-term periodontal stability. For this reason, a global treatment plan will often be considered at the end of our periodontal treatment. It will call upon the different disciplines of our profession (operative dentistry, fixed or removable prosthesis and orthodontics).
